S2.E12. | Taylor Lindsay-Noel

Resilience. A true story.

Training as a high-level athlete takes determination, perseverance, and resilience. Taylor Lindsay-Noel knew this as a 14-year old gymnast preparing for the 2012 Olympics. What Taylor didn't know was that she was going to need to flex all her determination, perseverance, and resilience muscles after a difficult dismount went wrong, and she ended up breaking her neck. Living as a quadriplegic has forced Taylor to pivot, but has never stopped her from being a wild success in everything she has done since that day in 2008.

Founder of Cup of Té, a luxury loose-leaf tea company that offers premium blends of organic tea and accessories like teapots, whisks, and steep diffusers. Oprah picked the company to include in her Oprah’s Favourite Things 2020 list, which focuses on Black-owned businesses.

Join us as we discuss Taylor’s life, upbringing, challenges, pivots, and amazing triumphs.
