S2.E8. | Dr. Rhonda McEwan
Grounded in Women’s Excellence
Dr. Rhonda currently serves as UTM’s special advisor to the vice-president and principal on anti-racism and equity and is also the director of the Institute of Communication, Culture, Information & Technology (ICCIT) at UTM.
Throughout our conversation, Rhonda sheds light on diversity in science and technology, her research into cell phones & social media, and more personally, on her experience living in Canada but being from Trinidad and Tobago.
With the recent announcement that Rhonda will be given a huge (and so well deserved!) promotion to become the Vice-Principal, Academic, and Dean U of T, Mississauga, come July 1, 2021 -- we are so excited that we were able to have her on the podcast now, right before such an exciting transition in her life!
